I have a 1902 single cylinder two stroke engine which runs, but not reliably. Apparently, it requires a new "wet sleave" which should increase the crankcase pressure and reload the upper combustion chamber. Can anyone suggest a reliable firm to undertake the work???
Hope you can help.

Before you do that - which is a major job - remember that 80% of carb or fuel problems are electrical.
If you don't have a good, hot, reliable spark - you'll be fussing with the engne everytime you go to run it.
