Now that I have restored my Mullins, I want to insure it. I have called my local State Farm Agent (my home/car agent) and for some reason they are completly baffled about how to insure it. They won't even return my calls!
Does anyone know the best way to insure an antique boat such as mine. I would think the cost would be lower than a new boat, but I do not know.

If you look in the magazines published by various ACBS chapters you'll likely find an intelligent insurance company.
OR try the ACBS HQ in Clayton, New York.

There are several. I use Hagerty. 800-762-2628. Rates are based on the value you insure it for and the deductible.

Call Carla or Kat at Hagerty! They know what they are doing, will give you a good rate for a replacement value, not just what most underwriters say.

My fleet has been with them for several years and I pay less than when I was with State Farm and it is for a policy that makes sense and does not depreciate as the toys get older!

Cheers,
