Having trouble with water in the oil. Put new head on. Do I assume it's a bad block and if so what next? |

Sounds as if the water jacket has rusted out .
The only realistic repair is a wet sleeve, I think.
But if you are lucky, and the location is not under compression , JB Weld might do the trick.
That means total disassembly.
