Hey I am new to this site though I've come into the possession of a really cool putt putt . Which I'm pretty sure has a single cylinder blacksland motor on her running off a lucas magnito . It took me a while to get her running again but once I managed to after replacing nearly every thing but the main stuff . Long story short , last time I started it it rattled a bit and due to the age of the manifold it broke and have no idea where to get a new one . So any suggestions would be great . I know you guys probably know this already but the piece straight from the engine to the muffler . Cheers .Mick

I think you'll have some challenges getting a replacement.

The better approach may be to find a welder that KNOWS hows to weld or braze cast iron. It can be done and can be done well. But it does need some one who has the knowledge / understanding.

I think a braze repair would probably work quite well and there is less heat stress on the part being repaired.

And PLEASE, don't try to do it yourself. It will be worth the money to get it done by and experienced guy.

Are you running in fresh water or salt water?
