Anyone who hasn't read Weston Farmer's book FROM MY OLD BOATSHOP is in for a pleasant suprise. Farmer was a wonderful designer, writer and illustrator with a love for all things mechanical. This new edition of his classic book is a collection of his thoughts on boats, designs, engines, etc. Chapters include:
  • The Kitchen Rudder
  • Choosing the Right Propeller
  • Where have all the Old Marine Engines Gone
  • The First Gas-Powered Marine Engines
  • The Lovely Fantail Launch
  • The Low Powered Launch Coyote II
  • etc

Great fireside reading... (or on the beach for those in OZ...)
