Many of us have collections of old books and magazines featuring antique engines. This material has always been hard to find and access, but we are now in a time where technology is accessible cheaply to the average person which allows this material to be digitized in full colour and reproduced easily. By this I mean book scanners like those discussed here: www.diybookscanner.org/forum/ I have often thought about digitizing certain materials I have and making them available for a modest fee to a wider audience. It would be a wonderful resource for more of us, and encourage greater interest in this hobby if magazines like The Rudder, Motorboating, Pacific Motorboat etc. could be digitized and made available. Is that an idea that would interest any of our members who have large collections of that kind of material? |
