does anyone have information on caille motors.caille perfection motor co. the flyweal says detroit caille liberty drive. trying to restore it

Richard, the Caille liberty drive was a clamp on rowboat motor. Do you have the whole setup with the propellor shaft, or just the motor?

recived your email today. cant thank you enough.
Its the same engine. Looking at your pictures i didnt notice any magneto between the two clampson the drive shaft. Im having a hard time getting a hotenough spark to fire it. Any suggestions.

Outboard: Swallow-Squalitalia,3 hp.
1 cil.3 hp,2-stroke,aircooled,no clutch,rope start.
Manufactured in Italy by Motori Fuoribordo Swallow

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH A VALUE OF A GRAY DETROIT ENGINE.?? IT IS A SINGLE CYL. 3 OR 4 HP, HAS A BRASS CARB, ALL LINKAGE BRASS, WATER PUMP, BELT DRIVEN OIL PUMP FROM CRANKSHAFT,IT ALSO HAS A NICE COIL THAT IS MOUNTED TO THE ENGINE. IT IS AN 11 HR. RIDE TO GET THE ENGINE , AND I NEED SOME KIND OF AN IDEA ON A VALUE.?? I AM MAINLEY INTO HIT AND MISS ENGINES. ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT. THANLS TOM
