I have a 30ft cornado with a palmer 60 runs well.I switched to a Indigo three blade prop it dose cause the engine to run at a little higher rpm but its almost like its pulling a load.Any ideas?

Is you forward gear slipping when you rev up the engine?

No,it dose rev up when you take it out of gear mabe 300 rpms or so.

That sounds normal. I was thinking more along the lines the prop is overloading the engine and the clutch is slipping.

There is no slipping.It just seems like a load but I havent realy run the rpms much above 1500-1600.
