Posting this for Cay

I will be restoring this little evinrude soon. I hope you can answer some questions for me. It is CCV529. Im wondering if you know where I can locate a marine exhaust for it. What was the origional paint color of the inboards, and what year is it. There seems to be very litle info on these motors. Any help would much appreciated Thanks Cay.

The Evinrude inboard Single engines were mfgd
1916-1924 the first two letters of the serial numbers were CC usually followed by five numbers denoting the year of mfg ?

Mine was an aluminum exhaust. There was a bit of the flange remaining on the engine.

I do have "serial numbers guide" for the inboard Evinrudes. I thought we posted it once before but I don't see it online now.

Nothing matches a CCV529. As Richard indicates the numbers are usually one or two letter followed by five digits. Where did you find that number? It is usually stamped into the edge of the mounting flange.

(edited by Andrew after posting)
Sorry, I see now that you said "stamped on the portside crankcase flange". That would be the correct place.

I will try get this guide scanned tomorrow and posted. Maybe that will help.

The CCV# is mentioned in Arlan Carters American Row Boat Motor book. but no other details. Would you have any idea of what the origional color of the inboards is?

Thanks for the list. Its the most detailed Ive seen yet.It lists my engine as a pressure pump. I sure would like to see a pic of one of those. I have seen pics of the twin as a fire pump but never a single.I have seen the single in a walk behind cultivator but it didnt have a water pump,it had tank cooling. I wonder if some of the CCV's were set up as marine engines? I None of the pump engines I have seen have their own Piston pump.

Cleaning out my b-inlaw garage after his passing and have found an old Evinrude row boat motor and have not found a ser. number but found a number on the front of the boat mounting assembly. The number is R19B. From following this thread I have looked in the place suggested without luck.
On the left side of the engine is this information, Trade Mark, Evinrude, Tackable Row-Boat Motor.
Would like to determine the age if possible Attached are some photos. Thanks for any info.

look for the serial number on top of the fuel tank behind the flywheel. The pictures did not come through. I most likely can help if you send the picture to me
