I recently purchased a Straubel 8 hp engine, and hope to get it running.
It's free, with good compression, but seems to be missing the ignition trip.
The base for the trip is there, with two threaded holes in the brass, and also the adjustment handle is there.
Does anyone have any pictures of the trip itself, or even better-know anybody that might have the part?
I've restored a few stationary engines, both 2 and 4 stroke, but this is my first venture into the marine engines.
Thanks,

tmann
