Livonia is just east of Conesus Lake, one of the Finger Lakes in western NY.

Neither link nor number above works.

Must have been "ended early" by private sale.

Here's a 2 cyl. Dunn in S.Cal. that sold: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dunn-Antique-Inbored-Boat-gas-engine-Hit-and-Miss-Engine -Old-Marine-Engine-Early-/162207089177

It is still there and ends on Saturday. The current bid is $300.00. There are 8 bids by 4 bidders.

I drove 2 hours out to Livonia to look at this engine three weeks ago. It has a crank stub for a hand crank like a tractor. There is a heavy duty chain sprocket mounted behind the flywheel. No tag. Was from a sale/collection of old car bodies. Definately not marine application IMO. May have been an an agricultural application when new>>

Ah, thank you. I thought it looked a bit off. No water cooled exhaust manifold, and as you said not much of a way to put a reaverse gear on it. Still, an interesting engine.
