Would the use of Sea Foam be harmful to old single cylinder marine engines?

What say you?

Cheers!

What flavor?
I just looked at the Sea Foam web page and there are lots of flavors.

I was curious as to whether it could be used to remove carbon deposits on rings etc.

Cheers!

It's usually used to remove gummy deposits of crud where there is room to flow.
I'm not sure it would do much to the carbon deposits in the piston / cylinder space. They are burned on and need mechanical action to move them.

It certainly wouldn't hurt anything ( other than your wallet)
