When I clicked on Old Marine Engines out of interest, the first post that popped up was an older post by John Davis, about how people with more modern motor questions were posting more and more and suggesting that other members should not answer questions, but rather redirect them by offering a link to the Marine Engine Boat Repair forum.Such would preserve the "Old" character of this discussion board. I don't know what the members finally came up with, but the answer to me was obviously: change the name to Vintage Marine Engines". I doubt anybody with discussion about an engine newer that 1949 could mistake this as a source of info for his motor.
Hope this is os some value. I have had vintage outboards in the past and enjoy reading about what people with them have to say.
