My brother has located a complete Fireball V8 220 marine motor in a barn. We thought it was a Studebaker but obviously it is a Rambler. It is absolutely complete but carb. and has all marine parts. The ID tag reads:

Gray Marine Motor Company
Model# V8CF228
Serial# W-9252

Any info on this engine would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

Don,

You can do a search of this board using the search link above, and you could do the same on the MarineEngine.com Board.

What information specifically are you looking for? History, technical, applications?

I am just looking for basic info on it and what would be a fair price on purchasing it. Also, if bought, would anyone needs parts from it. There is also a marine Chevy V8 there also. I may have to buy both to get the Chevy motor. I do not need the Rambler motor. I am a car guy, not a boat guy.

Don
