Just out of curiosity, is the boat from a Bay City Boats, Inc. kit? I am trying to put together a list of their boats.

The 22 foot Mystic sloop was designed for both an inboard engine and with an engine well inside the transom for an outboard engine.

I have a 22 foot Mystic built by Jim Sutter in Michigan in 1962-1963 and it has been moored in San Diego ca at the same marina since 1964 and yes it it a Bay City boat kit
