I have a JW Brooke engine which was produced in 1932 speifically for the "Dinghymota" boat. Does anyone have any information about either? I have attached some pictures.

I too have one of these engines and I have never heard of another one - I live in Nottingham UK. There are a few articles relating to them which I have. They were designed to be lifted in and out( the inboard equivalent of an outboard)with quite a lot of aluminium used in its construction. Contact me and I will try and get some copies done. Interesting yours is painted in "Brooke green". Mine was pale blue when I got it - still is as I haven't pulled it apart yet, as I am busy rebuilding a Brooke 3A - single cylinder, about 3/4hp |
