My investigation indicate the following.
Palmer Bros. built a new boat shop in Cos Cob at the site of the defunct Palmer Boat yard in 1901. I have no clue on any relation between the defunct Palmer Boat yard People and the Frank and Ray Palmer operation. Could be but no one to my knowledge has surfaced a confirmed linkage. Their engine manufacturing portion was move into the new machine shop facility at Cos Cob in 1907-1910. The so called "Upper Works" was abandoned after the engine manufacturing operation was moved to Cos Cob. I have no knowledge when that took place.
