Has anyone experienced dripping fuel from the base of the inner needle valve housing? Solutions? Epoxy?
See arrows on the Schebler schematic. I believe fuel is leaking from this area.

I have had fuel drip from the packing nut where it threads into the body, sealed it with Loctite. I've never had the jet out, don't know how it's held in. Are you sure it's not the float level high, fuel dribbling over?

Fuel level is below orifice of needle. When I completely close needle valve and put some paper towel resting on orifice, the towel does not get wet (and still get drip from flange). Placing paper towel at base of needle housing results in wet towel.

I've never had one out but the orfice is probably screwed in from under the packing nut that holds the needle valve, remove it and look under there. If it does unscrew remove it, clean it and Loctite it and the packing nut.

Thanks JB!
I tried to get the needle valve housing to unscrew, but it failed to yield despite my best efforts. There is a slot at the base of the housing that accommodates a rather hefty screw driver based on the width and gauge. One is limited as to the size of the screwdriver as it must traverse the threaded hole on the body of the carburetor. I purchased a new screwdriver at the hardware store that allowed access. Penetrating oil did not help either.
I used syringe-style epoxy and aced a small bead around the base of the needle valve housing. No more dripping!
