Richard Durgee gives an approximate date of 1905-1906. It is small - the flywheel is 2"x10".

A look into Poole & Price Machine Co. I find several listings in gas marine engine mfgrs lists in 1906.
Also find Listings under Norfolk marine motors in Wollaston,mass in lists as well.

This article in 1907 For'N'Aft boating magazine.

Poole

seems they made 3 engine sizes and an opposed double !

A few more old marine engines yet to be discovered !

Found poole & price machine company listed in 1891 as a machining Co. in massachusetts but earliest tie so far with marine motors is 1906 ??
