Has anyone heard of "internal zincs" in a Palmer P-60? A friend said that most marine engines have these..especially those used in salt water. I have known about zincs on the prop shaft...but internal engine zincs? I do not recall the engine manual referring to internal zincs either.

I know Lathrop put zinc in their old time two strokes but I never have run into any zincs in Palmers of any vintage.
