My P60 will not idle down below 1000 RPM. I've done the normal , plugs points condesor rotor and cap , I rebuilt the carb and it looked brand new inside. After all this it ran perfect for about two hours and then the idle speed started climbing. When I turn down the stop scew it stalls, The idle mix screw makes a diffrence but does not cure the problem. THank, Tim

Sound like a vacuum leak. At the shop we have a smoke generator to check for leaks, if you don't have any luck you may find a nearby shop with one.
