Just ordered the "major" rebuild kit for my dribbling Sherwood E-20 pump from Depco in Fl. The kit has everything except the shaft. If that's worn I'll have another machined up. Anybody out there rebuilt one of these before who can walk me through the rebuild process?

The disassembly is easy, except perhaps for the two bearings (the diagram shows a retaining ring between them). Remove the cove from the water side (6 screws), remove the retaining ring from the oil side. Clean the holes in the housing between the two lip seals. Does the kit include the steel sheet metal seat for 11628? Get the diagram E20.pdf from depcopump.com or MPG_E20.pdf from www.sherwoodpumps.com.
