Hey people, I had to get towed back to the wharf today the 8 Acadia quit on me,and would start an stop was banging up against the rocks and lucky I was seen and rescued
Now besides all that when I was back tied onto the wharf I got it started barely running and I could see it wasn't making full revolutions halfway an halfway back and so on. Anyone seen or heard of this before thanks mark nl

Seen it before, timing may have been too far advanced. The ignitors should trip as close to tdc as possible. I believe you engine has separate eccentrics for front and rear, one may be out of time.
