If anyone can give me any info as to the vintage of this simple looking lump of cast iron I would greatly appreciate it.
Found laying in the mud in an Eskimo village.

There was a Universal Fisherman model WM and WMG made by the Universal Motor Company. 4 cycle L-head, single cylinder, 4-3/8" x 4-1/2". 8HP at 1200 RPM. I'm not sure what years they were made.
There is a history of Universal here but it doesn't indicate when they started production... just that the engine was include in the 1940 catalog.
