Hi I have a hot spot on one of my Blaxland piston pots and wondered if anyone has been successful in cleaning out the cooling jackets with solvents , acids etc , I know they corrode over time and eventually need replacing . I'm also interested in how hot the exhaust water runs on other Blaxland twins as mine is almost at the point where you can just hold your hand under the exhaust outlet . Also would like to know if anyone knows of a supplier of new cylinder pots in Victoria , otherwise who else can supply them outside of blaxland marine co in NSW. Many thanks for the info.
