Hi all ... my engine has died. Magneto and spark apparently fine but will not fire. Probably needs rebore and/or rings. Is there anyone out there that could do the job for me? I'm in central Victoria but am prepared to travel. Thanks |

G'day miken! I'm in QLD so no visit from me. Check points gap 0.012" and plug gap 0.025". To check ignition timing. Take the magneto cap off and remove spark plug/s. Using a screwdriver down the plug hole, turn the motor over until piston is exactly 7/16" before top dead centre; the ignition points should begin to open. |
