Seems to be a lot of people looking for a Manual for these engines. I can email a pdf (2.7 mb). I would appreciate it if it was not used for commercial gain as I offer it freely to keep these engines going. I will have no email from 3rd Oct until late Nov 2005. So it might take a while to send you a copy. Murray Hopkins QLD Aust. |

Murray I have just bought an old wooden yacht that has a Blaxland Chapman twin pot 5/7hp petrol motor. It is need of some minor repairs and I am looking for an outlet for parts for the motor. I am in Sydney (Gladesville) N.S.W. and wondered if you know of anybody I could contact that could help. I would also be interested in a copy of the manual for this model. My e-mail address is dram@people.net.au Regards and thanks David Ramsay |

Murray, I am currently looking at fixing up my pops old blaxland twin. It was working quite well a few years ago but has been sitting in his boatshed collecting rust. Was just wondering if i could get a copy of the manual for this engine as I have looked everywhere for one but can't seem to find it. Would be much appreciated Thanks Nathan Dwyer P.S. Does anyone know where i can get a working magneto from for this engine to? (obviously willing to pay money for it!). |

Nathan Let me know if Murray can't get you a copy of the manual and I will email. Secondly you could try Aub Rose in Kirrawee in Sydney Ph 9521 4717 from 9am not after 1pm during the week. He may be able to help. He is one of the greatest blokes you are ever likely to meet. In fact I have just spoke to him and he has a maggy for a twin. Regards John P.S Could you post a pic of the boat so we can all have a gander? |

Hi, I will be taking delivery in a week or so of a putt putt with a Blaxland twin. Apparently it has not been run since the previous owner (a friends father in law) passed away a couple of years ago. I am looking for the manual for the Blaxland if it is available thanks Neil |
