Have just found an old Australian (I think) inboard motor and need to identify it and will probably want parts to restore it. Can anyone help?

That's an easy one, as only one manufacturer used a detachable water jacket of that shape. It is a Penguin, made by Chapman(PW) Engineering P/L, Redfern, NSW, and dates from about 1947. It would be either 7 or 8 hp.
The latest advertisement I have found was is 1959. I do not have any ideas about spare parts apart from advertising for them.
