Sorry forgot to put the date there. It was in the June 25, 1918 edition.

I don't have information to the actual connection between these two Companies but I believe That The Newfoundland Specialty Co. was an agency of the Parent Company "Knock Down Motor Company of America " Trade name " KDM ".

In 1908-09 they advertised engine kits and with their instructions you assembled it yourself ?

I've had this 1909 ad for many years and still not quite sure what

" A Syncronized-Chronometer Proposition " is ??

Knock09

Knock Down Motor Co. later sold assembled engines as well as kits !

Thanks, a lot of companies were agents for one or more types of engines. Guess they were part of the early kits. (assembly required)
